Free Motion Quilting Designs

When you see a blank area to be quilted on your project do you freeze up? Helen is a master machine quilter who has a novel approach to learning free motion quilting. She will have you perfect design elements in pencil, and then translate your designs to the machine. Your muscles retain the memory of what you want to emerge. Give it a try!

What is apparently a fairly simple pieced quilt is actually an exercise in color and design. Donna has started with a project from Color Shuffleby Karla Anderson, but has imposed her own theories and practice of color to achieve a vibrant effect.
