Pretty (Easy) Baby Quilt   photo
Hilary Hastie
2 sessions/2 hrs. ea./$34
This is a quilt that Hilary intends to donate to Project Linus.  She believes such quilts should be JUST as pretty as ones made for relatives.  She will be happy to show you everything you need to know to make this quilt, and hopes that perhaps you, too, would like to make something pretty to give to a needy child.  It’s also great to make this quilt for the family!
Thurs., Mar. 11, 18....2-4  pm

Color Shuffle
Donna Radner
3 sessions/7 hrs. total/$59
What is apparently a fairly simple pieced quilt is actually an exercise in color and design.  Donna has started with a project from Color Shuffleby Karla Anderson, but has imposed her own theories and practice of color to achieve a vibrant effect.  You will enjoy learning her approach and you will add a new sparkle to your work.
Fri., Mar. 12, (1-4 pm) 19, 26 (2-4 pm)

Stitch ‘n Bitch
Donna Gemeny
2 sessions left/2 hrs. ea./$13 per session
There are times when you have something to work on, and primarily need encouragement and a few pointers to keep up your momentum.  This group will fill that need, providing a venue, companionable quilters and a knowledgeable instructor.  Participants may bring light munchies to share, and amusing stories are a plus, too!

The Tulip Purse   photo
Alison Zacharkiw
2 sessions/2 hrs ea./$44(includes pattern)

Square in a Square   photo
Andrew McLaughlin
2 sessions/2 hrs. ea./$34
SnS is a great technique, and Andrew will be pleased to share it with you.  He also has the artist’s view, an interest in color and design, and an ability to challenge himself to create with whatever materials are available.  Learn a new approach to an old technique!
Thurs., Mar. 18, 25....7-9 pm

Pillowcase Challenge
CQ Staff
1 session/up to 3 hrs./$10
American Patchwork and Quilting has issued a challenge to the country’s quilters: Help us make and donate one million pillowcases to be donated to people in hospitals, shelters, nursing homes and hospices.  Capital Quilts has enrolled in the effort, and with your help the goal will be met.  We will teach you the very best way to make a pillowcase, and give you printed directions to take home.

Hand Piecing: The Next Step
Diane Heller

Apple Core Quilt  photo
Kathy Skalabrian

Impressionist Quilt   photo
