Bags and Totes, Part 2 – Small Zippered Bag

Sometimes you just need a small zippered bag to help keep you organized.  Just big enough to carry a little money when you don’t want to carry your entire purse.  Or big enough for your make-up.  Or whatever odds and ends you might all take along on a trip.  This little pattern by Atkinson Designs is quick and easy.  You can adapt it to the size you need as well as add your own decorative touches.

Below are pictures depicting the basic kit as well as some samples and variations.  The kit pattern calls for fusible lining, but you can make it without that additional thickness if you want.  The purple bag does not have any fusible lining.
