ASSEMBLY:

FRONT

1. Referring to FRONTdrawing, stitch 7 horizontal rows of sashing as in Row 1. Press seam allowances to squares which will allow seam allowances to nest when joining rows.

2. Stitch 6 rows of alternating squares/sashing as in Row 2. Press to squares.

3. Stitch rows together.

BACK

4. Referring to BACK drawing, stitch 2 horizontal rows as in Row 1. Press toward center.

5. Stitch Row 2. Press away from center.

6. Stitch rows together.

TO COMPLETE: Press front and back thoroughly. Both should measure 50-1/2"x 50-1/2". Place right sides together and stitch 1/4" from edge leaving an opening of 6" for turning. Trim seam allowance in corners. Turn right sides out. Press and topstitch 1/4" from the edge. Machine quilt in the ditch or tie at the cornerstones.
