Second Saturday Club 2026 (via Zoom): Dancing Dresdens

The Second Saturday Club meets on the second Saturday of every month; in 2025, the club will meet via Zoom. Meetings include a review of the previous month's assignment; demonstration of the current month's blocks and skills; tool-of-the-month; show-and-tell of members' finished projects; and an open forum. Meetings are recorded and the slides made available to download.

Longarm & ProStitcher Club

Getting Started: Pro-Stitcher Rental Class

This class introduces you to Pro-Stitcher, an intuitive computer-guided quilting system that is user-friendly and simple to operate. Students will learn the basics of completing an edge-to-edge design on their own quilting projects. Completion of this class is required before you will be allowed to rent time on the shop's Amara or Moxie. Students are welcome to download the Pro-Stitcher simulation software on their own Microsoft-enabled laptops to bring to class. This is not required. Must already have taken the Getting Started on Long Arm class before registering for this. The ProStitcher Premium Simulator is not currently supported on Apple / MAC systems so you must have access to a current Windows based computer.

Rod's Sharpening Service Drop Off Day

Get your scissors, knives, and garden tools expertly sharpened. Items should be dropped off at the shop no later than 5pm on the day BEFORE the sharpening day. For everyone's safety, all items must be packaged/wrapped securely with rubber bands or packing tape securing the item in a towel, pillowcase, padded envelope, or box. Attach your name, address, phone number, and cash or check payable to Rod's Sharpening Service. Items will be available for pickup the day AFTER the sharpening day.
