Have you ever looked at a quilt block or pattern and wondered how it was put together? In this class you will learn how to draft a variety of blocks in different sizes and how to make templates so you can stitch that block. Set aside your dread of that four-letter M work (that would be "Math") and bring your colored pencils or crayons for a fun session reminiscent of those carefree school days! If you have a particular block that you'd like to draft, bring a picture of it, and we'll solve the puzzle.

Got a big quilt and a small machine? In this class, you’ll learn three techniques for quilting a large quilt on your domestic sewing machine. With these techniques, you can quilt manageable areas of your quilt and then assemble the sections into a complete whole: Gusset Method Low-Fat Method Large Sections Method Students will be provided with a kit of quilt sandwiches that they will use to create samples of each method. This class is an excellent follow-up to either Walking Foot 101 or Introduction to Ruler Work.
