Hawaiian Applique

The quilts of Hawaii are very different from those that evolved on the mainland USA. Annette will teach you the traditional methods of Hawaiian applique and talk about the history of quilting in Hawaii.

During this class, we will make one applique block in the traditional Hawaiian style and learn about the history of quilting in Hawaii.  The book contains a total of 20 blocks if you choose to make a larger piece.  Quilting will be discussed but not completed during classtime.
