Stand-Up Longarm Machine Quilting Basics: A Handi Quilter Class

Does longarm quilting interest you, and you’d like to learn more about it? Or do you just want a review of longarm quilting basics? This class removes the mystery of longarm quilting by explaining machine and frame elements and features, how to load a quilt, and vital facts about thread, needles and tension.  Handi Quilter longarm and frame systems come in various sizes for every budget, and are user-friendly because they are designed by a quilter, for quilters – just like you!

Instructor Bio: Patty began quilting in 2000 when her husband was stationed in Germany. Projects took longer to finish because everything was hand-quilted. At every new duty station they stayed at, she continued to quilt. They eventually landed in Arizona. After leaving her teaching career, Patty started working at her local quilt shop, which is a Handi Quilter retailer. Patty thoroughly enjoys her Avant? with Pro-Stitcher. While working at the shop, she recognized the awesome customer service that Handi Quilter provides on both the consumer and retail side. Patty is a member of her local quilt guild and has entered her quilts into their shows. She and her husband have two grown children and two grandsons. When she isn?t quilting, she enjoys traveling, reading, and going to movies.
