We have a Block of the Month program that is short and sweet and will get you in the Christmas spirit! Vintage Holiday begins on Tuesday, August 13 and meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month for 5 months: that is August 13, September 10, October 8, November 12, and December 10. Each meeting is just 1 hour long, from 10:30-11:30. Anne Brill will teach you how to put together the month’s blocks (there are 10 total) and host show and tell. A limited number of kits are available for this quilt, or use your own fabrics.

Free motion quilting on your domestic sewing machine is easy, fun, and relaxing. Come learn the basics in Fun With Free Motion on Thursday, July 25, 2-4. Karen Fricke will soothe your nerves and get you quilting. Most of the techniques can also be used on a longarm machine, when you are ready to give them a try!
Jan Wisor has made 13 Star Storm quilts! She is teaching the class again, beginning on Friday, July 26, 2-5. The class is a total of 3 sessions; the other two are on August 9 & 23. The large Star Storm finishes at 80" square, and the Mini Star Storm is a perfect baby quilt size: 40" square. Sign up for this one soon, before it fills up!

(They're great stashbusters, too!) They are a perfect little project for practicing your quilting skills!
