COVID-19 Update: LIMITED REOPENING
Dear Friends,
Well, this is scary, isn’t it?! I actually had nightmares in which I was running around a hospital looking for the COVID ward!
Fortunately, my test and those of my staff members are coming back negative. I hope this means that the initial employee’s routine rapid test got a false positive. To be on the safe side, we are keeping the shop closed to in-store shopping until next Tuesday. If you would like to come into the shop beginning next week, please call to make an appointment. Once we do reopen for appointment shopping, we will start checking temperatures for everyone entering the shop, both employees and shoppers. Understand that if someone on the staff comes up positive, we may have to extend our closure for a few more days. If this happens, we will call you to reschedule your appointment.
In the meantime, we are back to online shopping and curbside pickup or shipping. If you need to match a fabric, you can bring it to the shop and wait outside while we find some possibilities for you and bring them outside or to the window for your approval. This is “window shopping” at its finest! Curbside pick up and window shopping are available 11-5 daily, 1-5 on Sundays.
Please don’t ask us to find a quilt’s worth of fabric for you when window shopping, as there will probably only be one or at most two people in the shop at any one time.
I heard on the news this morning that the British variant of COVID has been found in Maryland. This virus mutation spreads a lot faster than the first virus, so please wear a mask and wash or sanitize your hands frequently to protect yourselves, your families, and the rest of our community!!
Thank you for your patience and your support. Both are truly appreciated.
