COVID-19 UPDATE - Capital Quilts is OPEN for Appointment Shopping!

Dear Very Patient Friends,

After careful consideration, and in consultation with medical professionals, I have made the decision to reopen the shop to appointment shopping, effective immediately.  All potentially exposed employees have had their PCR tests come back negative and a sufficient length of time has passed since their potential exposure. We have completed extra cleaning throughout the store, focusing on "high contact" areas, and will continue to wipe down surfaces between customers.

Please give us a call at 301-527-0598 if you’d like to make an appointment to come shop in the store. You can usually get in the same day, but we are also able to schedule in advance. 

When you arrive for your appointment, please give us a call, as the door is locked.  We will let you in once we have determined that it will not overcrowd the shop, and have wiped down shopping carts, counters, etc.

As you enter, we will ask you to use hand sanitizer or soap and water to clean your hands.  Please do not wear gloves.  If you insist on wearing gloves, we will give you a pair. You must wear a well-fitting mask at all times, meaning that it must completely cover both your mouth and your nose. Finally, we ask that you observe social distancing within the shop as much as possible.

If you are exposed to the virus and/or get a positive COVID-19 test result, please do not come to the shop, and if you have been to the shop while you may have been infectious, please call the shop so that we may let others know. There is nothing political about this, and there is no judgment from us. We just want to do our best to help stop the virus from spreading and protect our friends and families and community.

Please also stay home if you are experiencing any new of unexpected symptoms: Fever or feeling feverish (chills, sweating), new cough, difficulty breathing, sore throat, muscle aches or body aches, vomiting or diarrhea, or new loss of taste or smell.

We really and truly appreciate your continued patronage and your patience through this pandemic. Your support has been, and continues to be, awesome. You are truly loyal friends! Keep wearing those masks! When your number comes up, get that vaccine! Stay safe.
