What's New at CQ 12/19/2023

Dear Friends,

As a reminder, Christmas is this Monday! I know, it snuck up on us too.  So, we will be closing early on Sunday, and closed on Monday. Our END OF THE YEAR CLEARANCE SALE STARTS TUESDAY, 12/26, and runs through 12/31!

For part of our Arrow Furniture kickoff, we are able to offer their popular sewing chair for only $299 - that's more than $200 off MSRP! And, if you come in and test drive one, you'll receive a tote just for sitting in a chair! The Arrow chairs come with an adjustable seat (seat height moves between 18 and 22 inches), plush cushions, lumbar support and a five-star 360° swivel base. The seat’s secret storage compartment is perfect for stashing notions. And, they have so many fabrics to choose from! Solids, cute sewing-themed fabric, dogs, cats -- there's something for everyone! A few employees have already taken advantage of this offer, and you should, too! This promotion is only valid through the end of the year.

Happy Sewing!
-Marianne

Gather up all your unfinished sewing and bring it to Capital Quilts on January 12th.  Enjoy time you can dedicate to getting those projects DONE!  Kat will be here to offer suggestions, guidance, and support.

Slow stitching is gaining popularity! If you'd like to try hand-piecing, we have a class for you!  Starting on January 15th, Laurie will instruct you on how to make your own stunning Lone Star wall hanging!  The class is spread out over three sessions to give you plenty of time for "homework".

Make a Carmel Tote of your own on January 21st! Just six coordinating Fat Quarters and some fusible fleece is pretty much all you need.

On January 27th, Kate shows you  how to create these lovely storage bins. The pattern will be included in the class fee. These adorable bins can be made in several sizes. Use them for storage or for beautiful gift baskets.

We have placemat kits available at the shop, please stop by to pick up one (or two). For those who want to sew from their stash, click on the picture for the beginner-friendly Charm Square Placemats pattern, or you can use your own pattern.

Please return all completed placemats to Capital Quilts.
Thank you for your continued support of the Capital Quilts Cares program.

We have free small kennel quilts kits available. These little quilts are sent to shelters who take in pets displaced by natural disaster. To quilters, they are a great beginner project, a use for leftover fabric, and a place to practice free motion skills. To use your stash, visit www.kennelquilts.com
