For example, Elizabeth is planning on a class showing you some of the creative and amazing things you can do with fabric selvedges in February. What causes do you support with your sewing? We are always looking for outlets that can use hand-sewn items, and hope that we can coordinate with you to bring some fabric joy to others.

The January 5th topic for Sew Together via Zoom is Temperature Quilts. Participants are encouraged to make one in 2024, and several ideas and techniques will be discussed.

Gather up all your unfinished sewing and bring it to Capital Quilts on January 12th. Enjoy time you can dedicate to getting those projects DONE! Kat will be here to offer suggestions, guidance, and support. |
Slow stitching is gaining popularity! If you'd like to try hand-piecing, we have a class for you! Starting on January 15th, Laurie will instruct you on how to make your own stunning Lone Star wall hanging! The class is spread out over three sessions to give you plenty of time for "homework". |
Make a Carmel Tote of your own on January 21st! Just six coordinating Fat Quarters and some fusible fleece is pretty much all you need. |

We have free small kennel quilts kits available. These little quilts are sent to shelters who take in pets displaced by natural disaster.
