What's New at CQ 5/21/24
We have an exciting class to tell you about coming up later this year! In October, Joan Raddel of Bucklebee Toolbox will be here teaching you how to make your very own CUSTOM sneakers! Spend the day making a pair of real sneakers, with quilted uppers and rubber soles. You’ve been saving a bit of that favorite fabric for a special project, and Happy Feet! sneakers are absolutely special. You’ll quilt your chosen fabrics, cut out your component parts, bind raw edges, set eyelets, and then attach your uppers to your soles. It’s a straightforward project suitable for advanced beginners and intermediate sewists. Your kit fee covers everything but your fabric and shoelaces. Choose from black or white soles in YOUR size, and the pattern has directions for hi-top, classic, and ultra-low versions. Come join the fun on October 26th or 27th. Please note: In order to ensure Joan has the correct soles for your sneakers, enrollment must be completed not later than September 15th. We've moved a few dozen bolts of fabric into our clearance section, and made a few Bolt Ends. Be sure to check out our clearance section, either in-store or online! And now for the REALLY big news! It is once again my anniversary of owning Capital Quilts, and of course, I'm having a sale to celebrate! Take 20% off all regularly priced items, and an additional 10% off of clearance items. The sale runs from Friday, May 24th through Monday, May 27th both in-store and online. Unfortunately, we will not be able to honor any other discounts or promotions in conjunction with the sale, and it excludes furniture, machines, classes, services, and previous purchases.
Happy Sewing! -Marianne ps. don't forget to pick up your copy of the All Mid-Atlantic Shop Hop Magazine! The adventure begins in July!
