The art deco style is perfectly reflected in this elegant fabric collection named Deco the Halls from Jennifer Ellory for P&B Textiles. Rich navy, forest green, and snow white are accented with gold metallic in each of the elegant designs. The block panel is stunning and unique, providing you with so many ideas for use. Heidi Pridemore of the Whimsical Workshop and Stacey Day both designed a beautiful array of projects – each with complimentary patterns! ![]() |
It should come as no surprise that I love ombre fabrics. And Villa Rosa's Garden Villa pattern is a perfect way to showcase them! We have made up a dozen or so kits pairing various ombres with complementary prints. |
Windham has sent us Ebb & Flow, Kate R. Leachs first collection with them. It features deep rich hues and ornate designs. Windham brought Kates fabric to life by adding metallic embellishments to match her artwork. The metallic is soft and never overpowering. It adds just the right bit of shine and dimension to the prints, and especially, to your projects. A wide back. Quilts made with Ebb & Flow. Yellow titles are patterns for purchase; most are on order. White titles are free and can be found on our website when you click on the collection (above). |
Sally Walsh of Sillier Than Sally has designed a Christmas line for P&B! We have a book panel, a panel with 9" blocks, and a FABULOUS red & white candy cane stripe. |
Let your patriotism shine with this starry pattern! Sorting the prints by overall color and working in a gradient across the quilt will give the blocks a more structured look, with the white hexagons providing definition to the blocks. English Paper Piecing makes the Y-Seams stitch together with ease, and makes your project perfectly portable. Finished size: 15" x 21". |

We have now made the Thread Labs available as individual month purchases! Aurifil's Thread Labs 2.0 starts in July! Each month offers video learning from industry leaders, exclusive projects, swag, special offers, and a box of thread. The first lab, Lab 2.1, grants early access to the Aurifilosophy Cool Thread Exemplar, a compact spool storage case, and a unique thread tracking booklet. Aurifil Designer Nicholas Ball will lead subscribers through a creative project that utilizes several thread weights included in the Thread Exemplar, while tutoring via exclusive video content to ensure a comprehensive learning experience for all proficiency levels. Subsequent labs will introduce new educators, thread assortments, and innovative techniques, fostering an environment where creativity and skill development flourish. |
Relax on the evening of Friday, July 5th with fellow quilters for a virtual quilting bee. Settle into your favorite sewing space with your favorite Zoom-compatible technology for 2 hours of stitching and chatting. Everyone will have a chance to talk about what they’ve been working on and pose questions to the other quilters. Each month, a guest speaker shares her enthusiasm for an aspect of quilting – a designer, a technique, a hot topic -- with lots of inspiring ideas and photos. |

Have you ever wanted to add a special element of hand quilted stitches to your quilts? In the Big Stitch class on 7/21, you will learn how simple hand quilting can be. Kate will cover hand quilting supplies, how to pick thread color, knotting your thread, marking your quilt, sewing a simple running stitch, and then hiding your knot.
