PT- Divergence

he definition of "divergence" in biology is the process by which plants or animals that are descended from a common ancestor evolve into different forms while living under different conditions. In our quilt we see our gray center circle line evolving into blue and orange circles of light. What fun it was to make this modern interpretation of divergence.

A modern quilt with some fun appliqued circles in your favorite fabrics. Fusing the circles and then decoratively stitching them onto the background squares make this quilt simple enough for all. Traditional applique methods may also be use.
